You may contact us at support@corp.mocospace.com , JNJ Mobile, Inc., 6 Liberty Sq PMB 96493, Boston, MA 02109, USA; or 1-877-323-4815. We welcome questions and privacy-rights requests. Information may come directly from you, from devices and service interactions, from permitted third-party login providers, from Stripe, and from advertising/analytics partners. Exact third-party categories vary by integration. We do not currently disclose hashed email addresses to advertising or identity partners as an Moco advertising practice; that does not necessarily prevent vendors from processing email addresses you provide to them independently.

3. Visibility, communications and ephemeral content

Your public profile and public posts may be visible to other members and, where indexed, search engines. Recipients may retain, copy or share material that you send. Private chats are intended for chosen recipients; our systems automatically scan private chats for spam, abuse, illegal-content signals and service security . Under current operational practice, employees and outsourced moderators do not routinely access message content for moderation. We may process and disclose messages where legally permitted or required, such as compliance with valid legal process. If technical or human-review practices change materially, this notice should be revised before the change.

Ephemeral photos ordinarily disappear after viewing and are ordinarily deleted if not viewed after three days ; deletion may be subject to technical limitations and backups. Screenshots and recipient copies are beyond our control.

4. Location information

We infer approximate geographic location from IP addresses. The Service requests explicit device or in-app permission before collecting precise GPS coordinates . When permission has been granted, precise location may be used by the Service and may be disclosed to advertising partners only as permitted by applicable law and applicable choices. You can withdraw device location permission through operating-system settings; IP-based approximate location may still be processed. We do not display precise GPS coordinates to other members. Permission for location access is distinct from any separate consent required to process sensitive geolocation data for advertising.

5. Purposes and legal bases

We use information to: create and authenticate accounts; display profiles and deliver communications; maintain FriendShop, ephemeral photos and purchases; bill subscriptions via Stripe; provide support; detect spam, abuse and fraud; maintain security; measure and improve performance; personalize features and advertising; comply with law; establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and communicate with you. For users subject to the EU or UK GDPR, our intended legal bases include performance of a contract (core account and messaging), legitimate interests where permitted (security, fraud prevention and necessary analytics), legal obligation (required records and reporting), and consent (nonessential cookies, relevant targeted advertising, precise-location or special-category processing where consent is required). We must assess the exact basis for each processing operation; legitimate interests cannot replace required consent. Where required, consent may be withdrawn without retroactively affecting lawful prior processing.

Special-category and sensitive profile data: Information about ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion and comparable demographic characteristics can receive additional legal protection. We do not share these sensitive demographic profile attributes with advertising partners. Such information may be processed to provide user-selected profile features and for other appropriately disclosed and lawful service purposes, subject to applicable consent and other legal requirements. This restriction on demographic sharing does not mean that every other category of personal information is excluded from advertising disclosures.

6. Advertising, sales, sharing and recipients

Advertising helps fund our Service. MocoSpace works with numerous advertising partners, bidders, networks, measurement providers and related technology companies. Depending on configuration and privacy choices, these parties may receive device identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location, precise-location data where separately permitted and lawfully disclosed, browsing or advertising activity, and non-sensitive profile or audience attributes used for relevant advertising; some partners may independently collect information through their cookies, tags or SDKs. MocoSpace does not disclose ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or other sensitive demographic profile attributes to advertising partners. MocoSpace also does not currently provide hashed email addresses to advertising or identity partners. Non-sensitive demographic disclosures, if made, remain subject to applicable privacy choices and law.

Advertising partners may combine data from multiple devices or services for relevant ads, frequency capping, fraud prevention, measurement and profiling. Some disclosures may be classified as a "sale," "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, or processing for targeted advertising under state privacy laws even if money is not paid for the data. Our Do Not Sell or Share control is intended to block all legally covered advertising disclosures for the opted-out user. Please review and exercise the control in your account . Where legally required, users can also opt out by contacting us without creating an account.

We also disclose personal information to hosting/security providers, communications and technical vendors, analytics firms, Stripe and other transaction providers, third-party sign-in services you use, public audiences for profile information you choose to publish, professional advisers, government agencies where legally appropriate, and parties to business transactions with lawful protections. We require service providers to satisfy applicable privacy contractual obligations. We do not represent that all advertising recipients are our processors or that we control all independent downstream use.

7. Cookies, device controls and consent

We and partners use cookies, pixels, device identifiers, local storage and analogous technologies for login, settings, analytics, measurement and advertising. Cookies necessary for service operation may be used without a separate optional-advertising choice where legally permitted; nonessential analytics/advertising technologies may require advance consent, particularly in the EEA and UK. You can manage available Service privacy/advertising controls, change browser or mobile device settings, and withdraw applicable consent. Blocking cookies may limit functionality. Opting out of targeted advertising does not necessarily eliminate advertising or strictly necessary processing.

Global Privacy Control (GPC): MocoSpace recognizes and honors supported Global Privacy Control signals as requests to opt out of sales or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, where applicable. When a qualifying signal is detected, we apply the opt-out to the browser or device sending the signal and, where required and technically identifiable, to the associated account. A GPC signal does not turn off all advertising or essential service processing. Separate settings are available for other privacy choices; ordinary browser "Do Not Track" signals are not necessarily equivalent to GPC.

8. Data retention and deletion

You may correct your profile information and delete your account within the website or app. Upon account deletion, the profile, posts, messages, photos and other associated content are removed from active systems immediately , and may remain in system backups for up to seven days before ordinary backup rotation or deletion. Recipients may have independently retained copies, which we cannot delete. Where applicable law requires or permits additional limited retention (for example, transaction records, legal process, security incidents or legal claims), that information may be retained for the necessary period and safeguarded appropriately. Retention of logs, transaction records and inactive-account information depends on operational need and applicable law, and may vary by category.

9. Your controls and privacy requests

Users can edit personal profile information and delete accounts directly in the website or app. To request a copy or portable export of data, correction of data not available through self-service, deletion, objection or restriction, or to appeal a denied privacy request where law provides an appeal right, email support@corp.mocospace.com . You may also contact us by mail or telephone using the details above. We may verify a request using proportionate methods before disclosing information. Verification, response time, appeals, agent authorization, and exceptions follow applicable law; we do not require login for an opt-out where prohibited. We will not unlawfully discriminate against people exercising privacy rights. If a request is denied, we will provide an explanation and any required appeal process.

10. U.S. state privacy notices

Residents of California and other U.S. states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to know/access, receive a portable copy, correct, delete, opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, and opt out of certain profiling. Some states provide rights regarding sensitive-data processing, consent, appeal, and authorized agents. Coverage and exact rights depend on the law and statutory applicability thresholds. Submit requests to support@corp.mocospace.com or use the available privacy settings. Nevada residents may request an opt-out to the extent Nevada law applies.

California notice at collection / preceding twelve months

In the preceding 12 months, categories of personal information collected may include identifiers, contact details, commercial and subscription information, device and internet activity, geolocation (including precise GPS data where consented), user-generated content and messages, demographic and protected characteristics voluntarily provided in profiles, and associated inferences. Sources, purposes and categories of recipients are explained in Sections 2–6. Advertising disclosures may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" of identifiers, device or online activity, permitted location data, non-sensitive profile or audience information, and inferences. We do not disclose ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or other sensitive demographic profile attributes to advertising partners. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of minors under 16 because the Service is restricted to adults 18 and older. For sensitive information and permitted uses, see Sections 2, 4–6; precise GPS information is handled subject to required permissions and applicable law.

California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights, subject to statutory conditions and exceptions. You may use the available Do Not Sell or Share control, a qualifying Global Privacy Control signal, or contact support@corp.mocospace.com for assistance. Authorized agents may submit requests subject to applicable verification. Where a separate "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" mechanism is legally required, MocoSpace will make that option available. California residents may also inquire about applicable Shine the Light rights by emailing support with "California Privacy Information" in the subject.

11. European Economic Area, UK and international users

MocoSpace is primarily a U.S.-oriented service but is accessible to a limited number of individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), and other jurisdictions. We provide cookie-consent choices for nonessential technologies where required, including applicable advertising and analytics cookies. Where EU or UK data protection law applies to our processing, the relevant privacy rights may include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and the ability to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Requests can be sent to support@corp.mocospace.com . The number of users in a jurisdiction does not by itself determine whether its privacy law applies.

Personal information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. Where EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on an appropriate lawful basis for processing and, for restricted international transfers, legally valid transfer arrangements. Consent for nonessential cookies can be managed through our available consent controls.

12. Security, legal requests and corporate changes

We use reasonable organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and risks, but no service can guarantee absolute security. We may disclose information to comply with valid legal obligations and process, investigate threats and fraud, protect rights and safety, and support litigation or regulatory obligations, as permitted by law. In a merger, acquisition or restructuring, data may be transferred subject to applicable law, contractual limits and required notices. Our Service may contain external links that are subject to third parties' privacy practices.

Reports of nonconsensual intimate imagery

A person depicted in a nonconsensual intimate image or video, including qualifying digitally altered or AI-generated content, or their authorized representative, may submit a removal request without an account. Email support@corp.mocospace.com with the subject "TAKE IT DOWN Act removal request." Include your physical or electronic signature, information sufficient to locate the content, a good-faith statement that it was published without your consent, and contact information. You do not need to email the image itself if the location details are sufficient.

We process report details and related records to locate and review reported material, communicate with requesters, remove covered content, and meet legal and safety obligations. Under the TAKE IT DOWN Act, valid requests require prompt removal, no later than 48 hours after receipt, together with reasonable efforts to locate and remove known identical copies. We restrict access to sensitive report information and retain related records as needed for safety, case handling, and applicable legal obligations.

13. Policy revisions and contact

We may revise this notice to reflect changes in law, products or information practices. We will change the effective date and provide required notices or obtain new consent before materially different processing where legally necessary.
